What does “Metiista" stand for?

Metiista means “artisan” or “handmade” In the Esperanto language. It conveys the essence of what we’re about: teaching you how to craft your own beauty products using artisanal knowledge that has been passed down for generations. Metiista will soon offer online cosmetic courses that only use natural ingredients found in nature.

What is the best way to store the bulk herbs and how long do they last?

We recommend that our customers store their herbs in their original packaging  or in glass containers with a lid, out of direct sunlight, and at room temperature or in the refrigerator. When stored properly herbs can last for many years.

Are Metiista products certified organic?

Yes, all of the herbs are certified Organic under my supplier's company name. No pesticides or chemicals were ever used. The herbs are either grown wild in the forest in India or cultivated through an organic farming system. So, why isn't my packaging labeled Organic? In order to do so, I would need to apply for the certification (under Metiista) which is very expensive and as a small business I cannot make the investment at the moment.  

What is your return policy?

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Should you need to make a return, please send us an email at contact@metiista.net. We will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to write on the outside of your box. This will insure prompt processing.

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval of your refund.
A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@metiista.net and send your item to: 1000 5th street Miami Beach Florida US 33139-7300.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Where are Metiista products shipped?

All of Metiista products ships in the USA and its territories.( Alaska, Hawai, Guam, American Samoa, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau)

International shipments:

This website doesn't allow the shipping to international countries. However most of my products can be shipped to more than 100 countries through my Amazon store.
